The UL Fire Test Room is a complete, integrated fire testing laboratory that calibrates and verifies smoke detector performance to UL standards, delivered and commissioned as a full turnkey system.
- Complies with UL217 and UL268
- Complete turnkey solution covering lab planning, hardware integration, software, consumables, installation, commissioning and training
- High-precision optical and ionisation smoke measurement for accurate, repeatable data
- 1.52m optical path densitometer using the light transmittance (BEAM) method
- Automatic ignition for six standard fire sources: wood flaming and smouldering, polyurethane flaming and smouldering, newspaper and hamburger fire
- Integrated carbon monoxide gas analyser
- Dedicated test software, control computer and integrated electrical control cabinet
- Radiation-safety compliant, using the DELTA EC-912 ion concentration meter with a very low-activity sealed source (ion meter purchased separately)
- Recommended laboratory space approx. 11.0m (L) x 6.7m (W) x 3.0m (H)
